Last night, Tiffany & Co kicked off Christmas in London with a star studded Winter Wonderland party at Somerset House and the official lighting of the Tiffany Christmas tree. Like a scene from a Hollywood movie with lots of guest appearances, the crowd mingled drinking mulled wine, champagne and cocktails while the brave took to the virgin ice. Stilt walkers all in white, jugglers and gospel choristers singing Christmas carols had us all in the festive mood in minutes.
The whole of Somerset House was transformed into the most magical winter fairground to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Tiffany’s sponsorship of the ice-rink. The enchanting theme of Carousel was evident throughout the night and was reflected in the decorations of this year’s Tiffany Christmas Tree. Renowned DJ, Norman Jay kicked the musical festivities off with a storming disco/soul party set, followed by a very special performance from artist of the moment, Emeli Sandé, who dazzled in jewellery from Tiffany & Co.
Guests included Dame Judi Dench, Pippa Middleton, Tali Lennox, Lola Lennox, Bonnie Wright, Bip Ling, Brix Smith Start, Cara Delevinge, Jade Parfitt, Julien Macdonald, Kelly Hoppen, Oliva Inge, Paul Smith, Robert Elms, Suki Waterhouse and Tolula Adeyemi who attended the party jointly hosted by Tiffany & Co. and The Somerset House Trust to celebrate the opening of the Somerset House Ice Rink.
The striking Tiffany Shop also returned again this year, offering a host of enchanting gifts and delicious post-skate treats including Tiffany Skate Lollipops from chocolatier Cocomaya.
Tiffany & Co made it a night to remember for all who attended.
